Photo Contest - مسابقة الصور الفوتوغرافية

المسابقة الآن مفتوحة لكل دول العالم شريطة أن يكون المشارك أو المشاركة من العاملين بمجالات حقوق الإنسان أو التنمية وقد تم إمتداد تاريخ التقدم حتى 14 مايو
بمناسبة اليوم العالمى لمجتمع المعلومات يوم 17 مايو 2010 يقدم مركز مجتمع المعرفة مسابقة صور فوتوغرافية حول موضوع التكنولوجيا والقضاء على الفقر وهو أحد موضوعات قمة المعلومات.
الجائزة: سوف يقدم المركز جائزتان هما كاميرا فيديو فليب 120 دقيقة لكل من الفائزأو الفائزة فى مجموعة أفضل صورة والفائز أو الفائزة فى أفضل قصة بالصور
شروط التقدم
على المتقدم أن يكون من العاملين فى مجالات حقوق الإنسان أو التنمية, ويمكن كذلك قبول أى متقدم أو متقدمة من محترفى التصوير أو من المهتمين بقضايا مجتمعاتهم
- لابد أن تكون الصور مملوكة لصاحبها ولابد أن تكون أخذت بعد عام 2009
- يمكن أن تكون أبيض وأسود
- يمكن التقدم بأكثر من صورة لكل شخص ولكن بحد أقصى ثلاث صور
- سوف تظل ملكية الصور لصاحبها ولكن لمجتمع المعرفة الحق فى استخدامها على الموقع أو فى منشوراتها
طريقة التقديم:
- لابد للصور أن تكون رقمية
- بالنسبة للقصة المصورة فلابد أن تكون ثلاث صور على الأقل وبجد أقصى عشرة صور ولابد أن تحكى القصة بدون كلمات بل عن طريق الصور فقط
- على كل متقدم أو متقدمة أن يكتب الإسم وإسم الصورة ومكان التقاطها ومناسبة التقاطها وذلك فى شكل تقرير لا يزيد عن 300 كلمة
تواريخ هامة
الموعد النهائى لقبول الصور المتقدمة للمسابقة هو 14 مايو وسوف نقوم بالإعلان عن الفائزين بعد المداولة مع المحكمين وذلك لنشرها يوم 17 مايو وهو يوم مجتمع المعرفة

Deadline extended to May 14th: Competition now open to citizens of any country on condition that they be working in the field of human rights and/or development.
On the occasion of the upcoming World Information Society Day - May 17th 2010, MENGOS is launching a photo contest. The contest theme is ICT and the Eradication of Poverty, one of the themes of WSIS.
Prize for the winning photo or photo story:
First prize for photo: Flip Ultra, 120 minutes camera with accessories.

Who can participate:
- Members of civil society especially those working in nonprofit organizations on human rights and development.
- Professional photographers and photo amateurs from all walks of life from the Arab Middle East may also participate.
Rules:
- Photos should be recent [no earlier than 2005]. Previously published photos may be entered.
- Photos can be color or black and white.
- Multiple entries are permitted for up to 3 photos per person.
- Submitted photos must contain a clear message that relates to ICT and eradication of poverty.
- In case none of the submitted photos will meet the criteria, the jury reserves the right not to award the prize. All decisions by the jury will be final.
- The submitted photos will continue to be the property of the applicant. MENGOs, however, reserves the right to use it on its site and in its own publications.
Photo formats:
- Only photos in digital form will be accepted. They may be jpg, bmps [preferable], or pngs
- The photo story needs to be a minimum of 3, max. 10 photos.
- Each photo or photo story submitted has to include a text document that describes the following:
- Applicant’s name, title of photo or photo story, and information about place and time it was taken.
- A short text (max. 300 words), which describes photographed situation must be submitted.
Deadline:
The final date for submission is May 14th. Only winners will be notified of their winning and will be announced on the website.
The Jury:
The jury names will be announced at the end of the competition. They will be 5 members who are photography professionals and human rights and development activists
